Department Overview

The Department of Science and Humanities was established in the year 2010 with a vision to develop engineers to face the future challenges in technical and scientific fields. The department is constituted with Mathematics, Physical Science and Humanities.

Academic Environment

The department has well equipped basic science laboratories and highly technologized English communication lab. Also it has eminent and experienced faculty members and skilled lab technicians. The department provides ergonomic learning environment to the students.

Foundation Courses in Science and Humanities

The department offers foundation courses in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Humanities to all undergraduate engineering programs, affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE.

Physics Laboratory

The Physics Laboratory provides hands-on experience in various experiments related to mechanics, optics, electricity, magnetism, and modern physics, helping students understand fundamental physical concepts.

Chemistry Laboratory

The Chemistry Laboratory offers practical knowledge of chemical analysis, material properties, and reactions, equipping students with essential laboratory skills for engineering applications.

English Communication Laboratory

Our English Language Laboratory enhances students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through interactive software and practical activities. Training covers pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, interview skills, group discussions, and public speaking, with expert-led workshops that prepare students for real-world communication and career success.

The trip to Pillaiyarpatti was both educational and enjoyable, providing students with an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience through the visit.
