The Alumni Association of Sri Raaja Raajan College of Engineering and Technology was established in 2015 to maintain a strong relationship between the institution and its alumni. It provides a platform for alumni to maintain connections with the college and fellow graduates.
The association plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our college through alumni contributions and by building an engaged and supportive community. It fosters a spirit of loyalty, promotes the general welfare of the organization, and supports the goals of the institution.
Sri Raaja Raajan College of Engineering and Technology takes pride in maintaining a friendly and healthy relationship with “The SRRCETIANS.” The Alumni Association meets once a year to interact, providing opportunities for a mutually beneficial relationship between the college and its alumni.
The SRRCET Alumni Association was registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act on June 20, 2023.

Community & Institutional Support
- To function on a charitable basis and run the association on a no-profit, no-loss basis.
- To establish alumni endowments for scholarships, prizes, and medals for meritorious students.
- To promote lifelong relationships and provide a forum for information exchange among members.
- To organize scholarship funds to help needy and deserving students.
- To encourage alumni participation in the progress and development of the institute.
- To acknowledge contributions made by passed-out students.

Executive Body
An Executive Committee manages the affairs of the Association. It consists of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, Executive Committee members, and Ex-officio members.
Local Chapters
Local chapters may be established in India and abroad. Membership with local chapters will be governed by the SRRCET Alumni Association.

Duties and Responsibilities of Office Bearers
Roles and responsibilities that support the effective functioning of the association.
President
- Preside over Executive Committee meetings and maintain their minutes.
- Exercise the powers necessary to promote the objectives of the Alumni Association.
- Take decisions using discretionary powers and report them to the Executive Committee for ratification.
- Monitor the activities and progress of the Alumni Association.
Vice President
- Exercise the duties of the President in the President's absence.
- Advise the Executive Committee on promoting the objectives of the Association.
- Prepare the agenda for programs and submit it to the Secretary for filing.
Secretary
- Oversee association activities under the supervision of the President.
- Maintain permanent records of the minutes of all meetings.
- Handle all correspondence of the Association.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, alumni membership, guest lectures, industrial visits, invitation forms, and related information.
Joint Secretary
- Exercise the duties of the Secretary in the Secretary's absence.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the President.
Treasurer
- Maintain the financial records and accounts of the Association.
- Operate the funds of the Association jointly with the President.
Executive Members
- Assist the Executive Committee in carrying out its responsibilities.
- Attend Alumni Association meetings.
Finance and Records
Maintaining transparent financial operations and proper association records.
Finance and Accounts
- The Association's accounts shall be opened with Indian Federal Bank (FB) in Karaikudi, into which all subscriptions and other income shall be credited and operated.
- The financial year of the Association shall be from April 1 to March 31.
- Withdrawals of funds shall be made only with the approval of the President.
- The accounts shall be audited every year by an auditor appointed by the Executive Committee.
Records of the Association
The following records shall be maintained by the Association:
- Membership details.
- Minutes of the Executive Committee meetings.
- Records of all sums of money received and their sources.
- Records of all sums of money spent.
Activities & Events
Encouraging alumni participation and continued engagement with the institution.
